Precision agriculture monitoring system using Internet of Things & visual sensor networks


The world's population is growing at a rate never before seen. It is easy to provide a large population with necessities. The most fundamental need that every human being has is the ability to eat well. However, due to population growth, outdated and conventional agricultural practices cannot feed a large population. Also, high-level cultivating strategies and brilliant innovation advances empower us to expand results and proficiency emphatically. Additionally, this will guarantee our food security. An IoT-based precision farming system project based on Arduino is presented to increase agricultural crop yield and productivity.

  • The role of environmental data helpul to tune the system for recording of frequently occuring samples. the sensors are used to measure the environmental data. The rapid developement fo machine learning algorithms, utilize the sensor data and validate the abnormalities presnet in environment change
  • Apart from environment monitoring, Plat disease monitoring system, insects monitoring, root rots monitoring are included in the study.
  • The develpment of Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology provides automated update of environment data, sensor values to smart wireless connecting netwoks. 
  • The smart network monitoring is capable of adjusting the sensor positions and formulate teh data transfer effectively
  • Through adaptive sensor Network, AI based adjustable sensor nodes performance as Visual sensor network (VSN) Precision agriculture is developed.
