5 Best Wireless communication Research ideas !!

In recent days the research topics on Wireless communication is keep on increasing. Evaluation of 5G technology created way for numerous research in wireless communication.  5 emerging topics advicable for reserach are discussed here

1. Self-Organized networks
Self-organizing networks are radio access networks (RANs) that automatically plan, configure, manage, optimize, and heal themselves. Software Defined Networks (SDN) are designed to curb down the challenge of traditional network which are unable to forwarding from single device on every packet. SDN has made the Networks more programmable. Software defined networking changes our technology by ensuring advancement in hardware and software equipment used in the network configuration. SDN is a three layered architecture.

2. Self Healing Software Defined Network

OpenFlow Protocol is the most common protocol used for providing the interface called as Southbound APIs between control layer and physical layer. On the other hand interface provided in between application layer and control layer is called as Northbound APIs. SDN can create and control a virtual network – or control a traditional hardware – via software. While network virtualization allows organizations to segment different virtual networks within a single physical network, or to connect devices on different physical networks to create a single virtual network, software-defined networking enables a new way of controlling the routing of data packets through a centralized server. Self-Organizing Networks penalties are assigned for a given network, the process is fully automatic and well defined.

3. Quality of experince enhancement

Quality of Experience (QoE) metric is used to evaluate the end-user experience.Anomaly detection in selforganizing mobile communication networks use network-centric approaches to identify dysfunctional serving nodes.Self-organizing mobile networks can be divided into three primary categories: self-configuration, self-optimization, and self-healing. These are commonly denoted as self-x functions. The self-healing function is activated whenever a fault or failure occurs. It use a parametric model to predict the QoE of users in the network and to use their QoE scores to detect serving eNodeBs that are dysfunctional, thus demonstrating a user-centric approach for the use case of anomaly detection in self-healing and self-organizing networks. For instance, support vector machines have previously demonstrated state-of-the-art potential in many binary classification applications and can be further exploited with different representations, such as one-class learning and data augmentation.

4. Anomaly Detection in 5G networks

Anomaly detection plays an important part in data mining. An anomaly detection method could be classified as distribution-based (density-based), proximity-based (distance-based) or cluster-based. Another way to classify all those algorithms is based on what kind of problem to be solved and what data those algorithms are applied into, namely unsupervised, supervised and semi-supervised. Fault detection often requires certain KPI or performance measurement data for estimating the time and location of a network failure. Cell outage is the case when one typical cell ceases to function as expected and go out of service. In a cell outage scenario, operators need to act quickly to correct the problem and minimize its disruption to the overall network.

5. Network Mining and analysis

CRISP-DM is the abbreviation of cross-industry process for data mining, which is a standard methodology for planning and implementation of a data mining or machine learning project. It’s robust, flexible, cover all of the aspects, necessary actions required in a typical data mining project. It is also widely used in practice, even with client engagement. The methodology consists of several steps laid out in a sequential manner. In practice, the steps can be carried out in different order, and even can be iterated multiple times. Each step has a strong connection with other steps, therefore it’s often necessary to jump back and forth among tasks and repeat certain actions.

Prediction of Unknown room data using Virtual sensors modeling through Machine learning | Python projects in chennai

Prediction of Unknown Location data using Virtual sensors modeling through Machine learning

What is Virtual Sensors?
Virtual sensors are created with the help of physical sensors that determine the information of the particular location using integrated embedded applications. These sensors physically record and fetch the recorded data for analysis and prediction of the invisible room

Is Virtual Sensors replace Physical sensors?
Virtual sensors are not the complete replacement of Physical sensors but it could replace few Physical sensors, so that it get the data from the existing physical sensors to create and model a new Virtual data

How Unknown Parameters are calculated?
Using machine learning algorithms, The existing physical sensors record the room parameters and create the training model that evaluate the time series data of  virtual data. The model is developed, Trained in such as way if the training data is acquired from the real time existing environment, using time series prediction, (future prediction model) the proposed Virtual data is being acquired and hence the Unknown parameters of the location is determined.

Example :Application to Determine the Unknown room Parameter
Consider Room A, Room B and Room C available in the Particular Building.
Room A and B is connected with Physical sensors Namely
1. Illuminance Sensor
2. Temperature sensor
3. Humidity Sensor
  • Room A and B data is considered as the Physical data and Training data for the Machine Learning Model
  • Create a Time Series NARX model or any other Time Series regression Algorithm using Machine Learning ToolBox (Python or MATLAB)
  • At the end of the prediction state , The time State t+1 determine the Room C data (Which is unknown)
  • Each sensors are tuned like this and Predicted with t+1, 2t+1, 3t+1,4t+1 etc.....
  • Accumulated results at the time series data act as the Virtual Data and the Entire analysis Set up act as the Virtual Sensor

How to write a Journal paper 5 STEPS !!!

Step 1: Clearly define your Research Objective
The important step involved in writing a journal paper writing is finding a unique objective for the research work that needs to be conducted. The objective should be clear and unique. it defines your future scope and motivation factor to proceed. the objective selection will be done by comparing the future needs and already presented research works on the same stream.

Step 2: Identify the problem Statement
A novel idea is always worth publishing in a journal. your idea should be unique and that provides a solution to the previously faced problems that might be comparatively discussed in the literature survey. Through various research papers and their impacts on your present implementation, clearly identify the problem that is going to be addressed in your research work. The problem statement might be related to a better solution, choosing a better methodology, achieving higher accuracy, etc.

Step 3: Declare a solution statement
The next step of the research paper is declaring an apt solution that is going to solve the problem defined. The solution statement should be novel and comparatively unique with the previously done research works. Modification in the parameters, changes in the design methodology, creating a new method are some of the key factors to be considered while declaring the solution statement.

Step 4: Select Tool & Design technique
The selection of the best design technique that is suitable for achieving the proposed novelty is important. hence tool selection needs to be considered. The tools should be the latest and actively engaged in the current scenarios. The selection of new tools is recommended.  The design technique might be a small variation in the existing methodologies, tuning of existing processing steps, or hybridizing one or more methodology. A clearly explained block diagram and algorithm diagram with simple words are worth a mile to achieve good plagiarism and adding weightage to the journal paper.

Step 5: Implement Result & Derive Conclusion
Select the required design environment, implement the proposed plan, and obtain the results. Most of the results should be comparatively explained with the previous methodologies implemented. Adding more graphical representation included weightage to the paper. The comparative table should compare the previous research submission of the past 5 years minimum. Add the relevant future scope of the conducted research work. Check for plagiarism and Linguistic check before publishing.
